A’Safwah is led by
Engineer Ahmed Suhail Ahmed Alhadhri. Masters in
Agricultural Sciences (Crop Production), Cairo University, Egypt
Arab Republic and Graduate in Agricultural Sciences (field crops
and pasture) Faculty of Agriculture and food Sciences in King
Faisal University, Saudi Arabia and. Mr Ahmed is a Ph.D (Ph.D
Candidate) Agricultural Sciences (Field Crops and Pasture),
Gezira University (Sudan). Mr. Ahmed joined DCF in 1997, brining
nearly 10 years of domestic and international experience to the
company.
As General Manager, he oversees day to day operations and is
responsible for setting the strategic direction that will drive
dramatic increases in the overall growth.

As a person with
the real vision by his nature, he leads by example and
empowers the management. As a truly local Citizen, his
passion is to serve the community by creating more business
opportunities in the region. Mr. Ahmed is the vision behind
the strategic improvement of the products quality and market
awareness measures to initiatives that have made A’safwah a
household name in the Sultanate and Overseas. He always
ensure that quality and value of the A’safwah brand all the
time and his agenda of cost saving an all manner to go for
better profit in all time.
Mr. Ahmed Joined DCF that owns A’safwah at a critical time
when operating efficiency was low and cost saving measures
were not in place and relations with the local community
were at stake. Within short period of time ,he has inspired
an amazing turnaround for the company. With DCF making
inroads into new business and generating increased profits
and boosting shareholder confidence in the company’s
progress. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of
Dhofar Poultry and a
Chairman of International Plastic industries. |

Ahmed Ali Qattan
DGM – support services |
Ahmed Heads the Administration
department at A’Safwah. He has an extended history in the office
environment and has worked in the trading industry since 1995.
Ahmed's knowledge of office and administration enables him to
front the administration department, ensuring all things run
smoothly in our demanding manufacturing and sales office structure.
He joined A’Safwah in May 1998 and with him brings immense
knowledge and experience on handling the Administration and
Personnel departments. Prior to this assignment, he was heading the
Azzawia Trading Company. |

Ghazi Jaber Taher
DGM -
Dairy |
Ghazi
Jaber brings extensive knowledge in dairy plant management,
function and process improvements to his position at A’Safwah,
having past experience in the areas of dairy plants
processing, production planning, and process engineering.
Ghazi Jaber joined A’Safwah in the year 1998. He has earlier
worked for Danish Jordanian Dairy Company where, as Production
Manager, he integrated the production and facilitated a seamless
transition for automation. Ghazi serving as
DGM - Dairy is responsible for operations and operator services of
the plant at A’Safwah. |

Mr. Jeevan
Sadasivan
DGM – Feed
Mill |
Functions of
DGM-Feed Mill are to optimize the activities of the feed mill
division which involves managing the timing & choice of
materials for procurement, evolving product, process and
quality parameters to meet the current and future market
requirements, Inducting new technology, equipment and
expertise.
Mr. Jeevan Sadasivan has more than 25 years technical and
managerial experience in the feed manufacturing industry. He
was involved in the installation, commissioning & commercial
operation of two feed mills in the region, the first feed mill
of M/s Grand Mills,

Abu Dhabi and
Fujairah Feed Factory, Fujairah, in UAE. With his excellent
technical and commercial exposure in feed industry, good
interpersonal skills and ability to motivate the team, he has
developed a healthy work environment and sound operational
results in the division.
He is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Kerala,
India, graduated in 1975, serving Dhofar Cattle Feed Co since
1999. |

Dr. JSD Sundarsingh
Live stock Manager |
Dr. JSD
Sundarsingh basically a dairy veterinarian, graduated in
1975 from Madras Veterinary College affiliated to Tamil Nadu
Agricultural University in India.
He had his training under Maple Hill Institution, Woodstock,
Toronto, Canada.
He started his career as a veterinarian helping the farmers
of dairy cooperatives. Later he served India’s pioneering
organization, National Dairy Development Board.
With this experience and skills, he served in one of the
largest dairy farms in Saudi Arabia (Nada Dairy Farm, Hofuf)
as Unit Manger for eight years. He joined DCF in 1998 and is
working as Livestock Manager. |

Ahmed Al Dahab
Production Manager |
Ahmed
Al Dahab is responsible for overseeing all of A’Safwah’s
research and development operations. He brings extensive
experience in the definition and development of research
management.
Previously, Mr. Dahab served in a variety of roles at the Feed
Mill division of DCF working in Quality and Product Check
Department. He holds a Masters degree from Lincoln University,
UK for Food Science & Technology and a degree in Agriculture &
Animal Sciences from Sultan Qaboos University. |

Kheiry Hassan
Mohammed
Board Secretary |
Kheiry Hassan Mohammed joined DCF in April 2003 as a Project
Analyst and Board Secretary and works as the connection
between the Board, MSM/CMA and the management, thereby
increasing communication between the Board and the management.
He works as a Project Analyst doing feasibility studies for
new ideas and projects/investments to be taken up by DCF. |

N. S. Ramanathan
Internal Auditor |
Chartered Accountant by profession Mr. N.S.Ramanathan heads
the Internal Audit department at DCF. He is Responsible for
ensuring that all activities of the company are subject to a
regular review towards an assurance to the audit committee
that:
Established policies, Plans and procedure are being
followed.
Management information available is sound and adequate for
proper control. |

Identification of weakness in internal control system and
recommending feasible remedial measures, Improve economy,
efficiency or effectiveness of operations.
Organise, manage and control the internal audit department
activities including preparation of annual audit plan, Audit
programme & monthly audit/quarterly Internal Audit reports
based on audit plan. |
