A’Safwah is led by Engineer Saeed Bin Salim Bin Ahmed Al
Shanfari, a graduate in Architectural Engineering from University
of Texas, Austin, USA. Mr. Saeed joined DCF in 1998, bringing
nearly 15 years of domestic and international experience to the
company.
As Managing Director & General Manager, he oversees day-to-day
operations and is responsible for setting the strategic direction
that will drive dramatic increases in the overall growth.
A visionary by nature, he leads by example and empowers the
management. As a truly local citizen, his passion is to serve the
community by creating more business opportunities in the region.
Mr. Saeed is the vision behind the strategic branding initiatives
that have made A’Safwah a household name in the Sultanate and
overseas. |

Mr. Saeed joined DCF that owns A’Safwah at a critical time when
operating efficiency was low and relations with the local
community were at stake. Within five years, he has inspired an
amazing turnaround for the company, with DCF making inroads into
new businesses and generating increased profits and boosting
shareholder confidence in the company’s progress. He is also the
Chairman of Dhofar Poultry and a Director cum Member of Audit
Committee of Bank Dhofar. |

Ahmed Ali Qattan

Ahmed Heads the Administration
department at A’Safwah. He has an extended history in the office
environment and has worked in the trading industry since 1995.
Ahmed's knowledge of office and administration enables him to
front the administration department, ensuring all things run
smoothly in our demanding manufacturing and sales office structure.
He joined A’Safwah in May 1998 and with him brings immense
knowledge and experience on handling the Administration and
Personnel departments. Prior to this assignment, he was heading the
Azzawia Trading Company. |

Ghazi Jaber Taher
Dairy Plant Manager

Ghazi
Jaber brings extensive knowledge in dairy plant management,
function and process improvements to his position at A’Safwah,
having past experience in the areas of dairy plants
processing, production planning, and process engineering.
Ghazi Jaber joined A’Safwah in the year 1998. He has earlier
worked for Danish Jordanian Dairy Company where, as Production
Manager, he integrated the production and facilitated a seamless
transition for automation. Ghazi serving as Dairy plant
manager is responsible for operations and operator services of
the plant at A’Safwah. |

Stany Jovin Menezes

Manager |
An
experienced professional executive with comprehensive
background in Sales, Distribution,
Production, Marketing and Customer Service Management, Stany Menezes joined DCF in May 2004 as Senior Sales Manager
and is the Head of Dairy Sales and Marketing in the entire Oman
and UAE territories.
Prior to joining DCF, he has devoted over 17 loyal years as a
highly productive employee for Coca-Cola Bottling AGL- Oman, working as a Sales Manager. His career
started in 1984 in Oman (almost 20 years back) beginning as a Sales
Executive with one of the leading FMCG companies in Oman. |

Ahmed Al Dahab

Control Manager |
Ahmed
Al Dahab is responsible for overseeing all of A’Safwah’s
research and development operations. He brings extensive
experience in the definition and development of research
management.
Previously, Mr. Dahab served in a variety of roles at the Feed
Mill division of DCF working in Quality and Product Check
Department. He holds a Masters degree from Lincoln University,
UK for Food Science & Technology and a degree in Agriculture &
Animal Sciences from Sultan Qaboos University. |

Kheiry Hassan
Mohammed
Board Secretary |
Kheiry Hassan Mohammed joined DCF in April 2003 as a Project
Analyst and Board Secretary and works as the connection
between the Board, MSM/CMA and the management, thereby
increasing communication between the Board and the management.
He works as a Project Analyst doing feasibility studies for
new ideas and projects/investments to be taken up by DCF. |

N. S. Ramanathan
Internal Auditor |
As per MSM (Muscat Security Market) requirements, an S.A.O.G
company having a share capital of 5 Million Rial Omani should
have a full time Internal Audit department. In observance to
the said requirement, we have a full fledged Internal Audit
Department.
N. S. Ramanathan heads the Audit department at DCF. He has
pioneered the development, delivery and measurement of
effective internal audit in his work as an Internal Audit
manager. His experience includes a variety of internal audit
and consultancy assignments, with Ernst and Young Auditing
Firm.
Ram is responsible for risk based planning, overseeing
procurement |

processes, liaising with the board and management, raising the
profile and credibility of internal audit and preparation of
regular reporting to the Audit Committee. |
